As a volunteer association FATANT lives and breathes via the commitment and engagement not only of its management committee but of the entire local industry. In 2011, FATANT aimed to help develop our industry through the provision of professional development activities, through continued lobbying to government, and through networking events. Travelling Film Festival returns to the Territory - Darwin 2-5 February 2012

The Travelling Film Festival is on the road again; first stop for 2012 is Darwin 2-5 February, screening nine features and three shorts, from seven different countries at BC&C Darwin 5 Cinemas.  The Travelling Film Festival once again treats regional audiences to the best of Australian and world cinema on the big screen.

Thoroughbred Racing NT is hosting pre-Christmas drinks and opening its new HD Studio facility to all industry members. Come and meet key members of the Film and Television Industry here in the NT.

When:  December 1st 2011

Time:  5pm - 7pm

Where:  Darwin Turf Club.   Just follow the signs.

Refreshments:  Nibbles and drinks to be provided.

The Territory’s own home grown short film festival is in its 12th year at a great new venue The Darwin Entertainment Centre.

The Galah Awards Screening and Award Presentation is scheduled for 7pm on November 19 at The Studio Theatre followed by live music from Mark Hilton and the Two Few beside the bar. Free entry.
